Sue Proctor M.A. has performed as a clown at International Storytelling and Children’s Festivals in Vancouver, Okanogan, Winnipeg and the Yukon, as well as cabarets in Montreal. Sue founded Loonisee Clown Troupe, which created commedia style shows and also a senior’s theatre company, the Drama Divas, who create shows to support immigrants in learning English with humour.

Sue was director of Clownwise Inc. (1998 – 2011), a non-profit arts organization, where she coordinated conferences and facilitated workshops on clowning, puppets, fine arts, humour and health. She also developed, administrated and clowned in the Clown in the Hospital Program at the St. Boniface Hospital with Manitoba Artists in Healthcare (MAH).

Sue developed the “Arts Ability” Project with Canadian Centre on Disability Studies (CCDS) that provided arts programming for people with disabilities at six sites in Manitoba. Currently, Sue performs as a clown and puppeteer at festivals and coordinates storytelling events, writes plays and teaches creative drama with Manitoba Artists in the Schools, Manitoba Theatre for Young People and Inclusion Winnipeg.
