Sophie Fuldauer

Sophie Fuldauer is a multi-media artist living and working in Victoria, BC. She is a painter and maker of large-scale creatures as puppets, masks and art installations as well as creating theatre sets, props and costume design. She has done set and costume design work for Story Theatre in Victoria for their touring shows “The Library Club”, “A Thousand and Two Nights” and “The Very First Circus”, shadow puppets for Theatre Inconnu, and a collaboration with Tim Gosley on a giant lion puppet. She’s an alumni of Dawson City’s School of Visual art and has taken classes with various art schools across Western Canada which have lead her in many artistic directions including illustration for print, digital media and children’s books, painting, mixed-media sculpture, design work and several musical instruments. She prefers to be behind the stage rather than on it.
