Anaïs Pellin

Anaïs is a Belgian actor, writer and theatre creator based in Vancouver. Her theatre credits include “Les théâtres de Marguerite Duras” (Grütli/Geneva), “La Jeune fille folle de son âme” (Théâtre du Peuple/Bussang, Rideau de Bruxelles/Brussels), “Touche Pas À Ma Pote” (LIB/ Belgium) and “Le Match d’Impro” – improv theatre (LIB/ Belgium). For several years, Anaïs specialises in object theatre. In Vancouver, she wrote, directed and produced object theatre plays “Clementine” with Emilie Leclerc, “Cinderella” with Annie Lefebvre and “The Little Mermaid” directed by Mika Laulainen. She also created a puppet show with the francophone organisation La Boussole about homeless, “Bienvenue à Caribouville”. She was assistant director to Gilles Poulin-Denis on “Bonjour, là, Bonjour” (Théâtre La Seizième/Vancouver) and to Emilie Leclerc’s bilingual show “Anonyme” (Vortex Théâtre/Vancouver). She collaborated several times with the Montreal object theatre company La Pire Espèce. She teaches drama and object theatre to children and teenagers in BC schools with Théâtre La Seizième, drama and playwriting with Presentation House Theatre and musical theatre with Lights Up Musical Theatre School.
